FAQ

  • What is the best way to reach you?

Email is the best way, always! I respond to email during normal business hours. During peak season, I am often on location and way from my computer so please keep an eye on my social media feed to see weekly office hour updates.

Text messages and DMs on Instagram often get lost or buried so please reach out with important requests through email.

  • How many photos do you deliver in a wedding gallery?

I deliver atleast 100 images per hour of coverage. This can be more if you have booked a package that includes a second photographer.

  • What are the advantages of having a second photographer?

A second photographer isn’t always necessary, and when we first speak on the phone, I try to assess whether it would be a good idea for you to have one.

If you and your partner are getting ready at two different locations and you both feel strongly about having coverage, I would recommend a second photographer.

A second photographer is also committed to these extraneous moments that I do my best to capture after I’ve documented the main moment. So, for example, the bored kid at the ceremony or your aunt spitting out her drink while laughing at your maid of honor’s speach — these are all little moments that I certainly look for as a main photographer, but when there is a second photographer, he/she is committed to chasing down these peripheral moments.

  • How long do you keep a back up of a Wedding Gallery?

I keep a back up of your wedding files for one year after your wedding. Files are also available in your online gallery for 1 year after your wedding.

  • Do you offer mini sessions?

I offer mini sessions twice in the fall. Dates are announced in August and previous years’ families get priority sign ups before sharing the link with the public.

  • We hate being photographed / have photo trauma / are nervous about being in front of the camera.

90% of the people you see on my website have expressed this sentiment to me and I often feel as though I have to apologize for a previous generation of photographers who forced kids to smile and couples to be overly romantic with one another.

These sessions are fun. Portraits are fun. It’s easy and I’m not looking to share hundreds of “perfect” photos. I am there to document your connection as a family or as a couple.

At the end of your session I want you to feel like you have set aside intentional time to be together and will walk away with some pretty rad photos to document it.
