New Year's Eve — the ever popular global soirée that transcends all borders and cultures. On this one day, there's an unspoken agreement among us all to close the chapter on the past and raise a glass to what lies ahead.
And, what sweeter day could there be to marry your best friend?
For Alie and Erick, it was the obvious choice. They planned the perfect New Year’s Eve bash at Union Station in Northampton, Massachusetts, waving goodbye to the old and diving headfirst into a narrative of fresh beginnings.
Their party was a memorable one — dinner was a culinary adventure with carving stations, pasta feasts, and an oyster shindig, all unfolding against the backdrop of a dance floor buzzing with life.
Of course, this party was more than just about ringing in the New Year; it was a celebration of the newlywed bliss of Alie and Erick as we collectively kicked off a new expedition around the sun.
Before the party started, Alie and Erick shared a sweet first look in the atrium of the Hotel Northampton. Family and friends couldn’t help but sneak a quick glance of them through the windows.
We then took a little walk to the venue through the lit up city of Northampton, stopping along the way for portraits.
As guests started to arrive for the ceremony, a Mariachi band performed in the Roosevelt Room at Union Station. Alie and Erick managed to steal a few private dances before tucking themselves away in the bridal suite.
After the sun went down, family and friends gathered in the Roosevelt Room at Union Station to witness Alie and Erick exchange vows.
The evening ceremony, bathed in the soft glow of moody candle lighting after sundown, created an intimate and personal vibe, perfect for the first night celebration.
The night ended with dancing and countdowns, and of course more food!
