What did your Senior year of high school look like?

When Jillian started high school, her Sophomore year was cut short by the pandemic. She adjusted to remote learning during the stay at home order in 2020. Then followed her Junior year, at home as well. Now she is starting her Senior year and as she reflects on her time, she is realizing that all of her high school years unfolded at home.

We have all witnessed “the end of the world as we know it”, and most teenagers will have experienced this all within the span of their high school years.

I feel for all of these kids. These are strange times.

But, always, when things come tumbling down, there is a blank slate to build on, and I am so eager to see how this generation uses this experience to shape our collective future.

Congrats to Jillian and to all of the other seniors out there who are keeping it together and moving forward in spite of it all.
