Liz + Brendan | Engagement Photos at the Arnold Arboretum in Boston, Massachusetts
Liz and Brendan are tying the knot way up in the tippy-top, most western corner of Massachusetts next spring, at the ultra-cool and wonderfully designed Tourists in North Adams.
To celebrate, they scheduled engagement photos with me at the Arnold Arboretum in Boston, Massachusetts.
Being in Boston on the first day of spring felt like stepping into a Jonathan Richman song. It was was a real joy meandering through a place like this, watching everyone bask in the world coming back to life after a long, dark winter.
Couples were snuggled up on blankets all over the park, high school kids arrived dressed to the nines for prom, and families strolled around, admiring the trees. It was prime people-watching territory, marking the end of our winter hibernation here in New England.
We explored the park, read some of Brendan’s book of Dad Jokes, and drank champagne.
A few favorite dad jokes:
Why don't skeletons fight each other? They don't have the guts.
What do you call fake spaghetti? An impasta.
How does a penguin build its house? Igloos it together.
Why did the scarecrow win an award? Because he was outstanding in his field.
What do you call cheese that isn't yours? Nacho cheese.
They're so delightfully groan-worthy, right?
