Caity and Reed’s Engagement Photos at the Quabbin Reservoir

Just before the world shut down in March, Caity followed her heart to western Massachusetts to be with her fiance´ Reed. She grew up in Maui and was living in Seattle when the virus started to spread. Reed urged her to move to the east coast where he was living and working because he knew that things were about to get bad.

When I first talked to them on the phone, I asked her how she liked living on the east coast so far. She laughed and admitted that she hadn’t really left her house. Just a few short days after she arrived, the entire state of Massachusetts shut down.

Luckily, these two are SUPER in love and have no problem being goofy and adventurous together. They could be living in a dark stinky cave together and it would be the most beautiful existence ever.

I took their engagement photos at the Quabbin Reservoir in Belchertown, Massachusetts last month. Caity must have brought some Maui magic with her because we had such beautiful warm light and the forest was extra lush and alive.

They are planning a small wedding in Maui next year and I am working on a way to sneak into their suitcase and photograph their day whether they want me there or not. I mean, I feel like we are best friends and they’d probably be cool with that right?
