Newborn lifestyle sessions are starting to be one of my favorite bookings. These sessions are all about those tender early moments of having a brand new baby in your home. No props, no posing, no babies in baskets, no lights, and most of all, no pressure.
Maybe get dressed, or not.
Brush your hair if you feel like it, but that’s not required either.
These sessions are aimed to document all of it, and that includes the sleep deprivation, the messy hair and the general not-getting-enough-rest-kind-of-weirdness that dominates your waking life.
You and your partner have just done something incredible and I’m just there to capture it.
Melissa and Nelson were gifted a newborn lifestyle session at their baby shower in the fall and I was so excited to spend a morning with them photographing all of these fleeting moments. We scheduled their session just before the holidays. It just so happened to fall in the middle of a three day long winter storm. The snow falling outside made everyone a little extra snuggly.
Baby Luciano is such a sweet little dude and is so loved by his family. I had the best morning with the three of them. Congratulations Melissa and Nelson and thank you for having me in your home to capture this wonderful time!
