A tip for families welcoming their second child and booking a photo session: just let whatever needs to happen that day happen. You’ll want to remember the weird moments just as much as the sweet ones.

This family shared an afternoon in their home with me a few weeks ago to document the newest addition to their family, Henry. Henry joins his energetic sister Georgia, who made sure to turn it on and keep me entertained during the entire session. Two year olds really do not like to be told to sit still for a photo so I say, just let them be the wild children they want to be. I promise, you will look back on those photos and smile.
