Jordan and Luke’s Vermont Wedding at Lake Bomoseen Lodge
The dance floor opened up at Jordan and Lucas’s wedding reception and before guests could even join them on the floor, Jordan was out spinning around to the music all by herself. She is a preschool teacher in Burlington, Vermont and she told me that she starts every class with a dance party.
Lucas is an aerospace engineer, a huge bonsai lover, and a free spirit just like Jordan. As we walked to the shore of Lake Bomoseen for sunset, Jordan proudly told me that a few days after their wedding they would be attending their very first community bonsai event as a married couple.
Like true Vermonters, they love spending time outdoors. They love to hike and explore the green mountains with their Bernese Mountain Dog Morty. They also enjoy exploring the impressive local food and beer scene that Vermont has to offer. They met at the UVM during one of their summer breaks and a few years later, Lucas proposed on a cliff overlooking Lake Willoughby.
This Vermont wedding at Lake Bomoseen Lodge was full of beautiful moments. They had a traditional ceremony on a hillside followed by an indoor reception full of memorable toasts and dancing. Jordan and Lucas wanted their guests to remember the day as '“magical” and magical it was!
Congrats to Jordan and Luke and thank you for having me there to document the beginning of this new adventure!
